Senior Infants have settled very well into school life this September and have made a very positive start to the new school year. They are becoming more confident and independent in the classroom and are learning to follow our daily routines. It has been lovely to see the children building friendships, supporting one another and growing in confidence as they settle back into school life.
The children enjoy learning in a variety of ways, particularly through play-based learning and hands-on activities. They love exploring new ideas, working together, solving problems and using their imaginations. Play provides wonderful opportunities for the children to develop their language, social skills, creativity and early literacy and numeracy skills in an enjoyable and meaningful way.
Senior Infants have been enjoying a wide range of subjects and activities across the curriculum. They particularly love PE, where they have lots of opportunities to move, develop their fundamental movement skills, work as part of a team and, most importantly, have fun! They also enjoy creative activities, music, stories, outdoor learning and exploring the world around them.
